Cabell Midland Wins 2022 MSAC Golf Championship

Cabell Midland High School won the MSAC Golf Championship held today (September 14th) at Green Hills Country Club in Ravenswood. Savannah Hawkins of Hurricane was Medalist and named Player of the Year while Matt Stead from Cabell Midland was named Coach of the Year. Here are the results:

Commissioner Jim Hamric has announced the dates and sites of several Fall sports championships. They are:

Boys & Girls Cross Country: October 8th at Cabell Midland High School

Golf: September 14th at Green Hills Country Club, Ravenswood, WV

Boys and Girls Soccer: October 6th at Highest Seeded Team

Volleyball: October 29th at Parkersburg High School

MSAC Preseason Football Poll Announced

Huntington was tabbed as the 2022 Pre-Season favorite in Football in a vote of league head football coaches at the annual media day held at Little Creek Golf Course in South Charleston.
