The MSAC held their 1st annual Girls only golf tournament on Wednesday Sept 10, 2025 at Big Bend Golf Course in Tornado WV.  Only 19 girls participated in the 12 school event.  George Washington,  Parkersburg and Parkersburg South competed in the 18 hole tournament while Parkersburg, Spring Valley and Woodrow Wilson competed in the 9-hole event. We were disappointed in the number of participants but not the quality. Our girls were encouraged to recruit female golfers from their respective schools for the future of the sport. Hopefully we’ll have female golf team championships in the WVSSAC and MSAC.

Top scores were: Chastyn Viars – George Washington medalist 74,  Jadyn Snodgrass – George Washington runner up 88, Addison Ayers – George Washington 97, Kamryn Stutler – George Washington 97, Tensley Heumann – George Washington 99,  Abby Long –  George Washington 99 and Kali Grueneberg – Parkersburg 106.

Others were: Alexis Bolen – George Washington 107, Bre Taylor – Parkersburg South 108, Mia Herron –  George Washington 113, Karsyn Marshall – Parkersburg South 119, Raylen Dawkins –  Parkersburg South 122, Brooklynn Nolen – George Washington – 137
